The CCM12-MK3 and DiaMon-MK3 are very similar boxes that work great for monitor duty, as light mains, and as fills. They are both sealed enclosures that feature the same 12" Coaxial driver with 3" voice coils, and both have the same 1200W amplifier and integrated DSP with a 96kHz sampling rate and networkability. Both boxes also feature a pole cup for mounting on a tripod or above a subwoofer. This article explains the similarities and differences between these two cabinets, and why you may choose one over the other.

When to use the CCM or DiaMon?
The CCM12-MK3 and DiaMon-MK3 work equally well as a DJ monitor and as a front or sidefill in production applications. Acoustically and spec-wise, there is virtually no difference between the two boxes. Which is right for you depends on whether you need the included M10 mounting points or monitor angles on the CCM12, or whether you prefer the more aesthetic look of the DiaMon. Also, the CCM often has a lower price from our dealers.
If you are someone who:
- Needs the ability to fly a box by eyebolts
- Wants 4 monitor angles to use the box as a wedge monitor
- A production company that desires a lightweight "Swiss army knife" box that can work as a floor monitor, fill, or main
- Wants the lower price unit
The CCM12-MK3 may be right for you
If you are someone who:
- Will primarily mount your speaker on a pole
- Value the aesthetics of the DiaMon
The DiaMon-MK3 may be right for you. Note the DiaMon also comes in a passive, RP (Rack or Remote Powered) variant as well, that comes in Black, Enamel Gold, and Enamel White.
