Can I run my BASSBOSS MK3-series gear off 240V in the USA? What about MK2 and previous?

All MK3 models are auto-switching and can be used all over the world. In order to use a BASSBOSS MK3 product with 240 V power in the USA, the connector will need to be swapped out. For MK2 and previous, all Powersoft tops amps can be used on 240V. Most MK2-Subs amps CANNOT BE USED ON 240 V.  

There are a large variety of 240V connectors available, so you will need to know the socket into which you wish to connect. The 240V versions begin with 6, followed by the amperage rating. The L versions are for locking.


The L6-20 is the most likely candidate. We don’t suggest that people make or modify power cords unless they are electricians. For those who are not electricians, a complete replacement cord for the MK3 series cabinets, featuring L6-20 plug and powerCON True1 socket can be ordered from Elite Core Audio for about $114.00. A variety of other lengths are available at slightly different prices.
